OBO

I am selling my beloved #4627 1989 Range Rover Ultra4 car. I have owned it for about 4 years and put a ton of work into it. I’ve done 2 Ultra4 races with it and the previous owner finished King of the Hammers twice with it. It drives very well, it’s super planted and stable in the high speed stuff and the rocks. Really is the best of both worlds; it will walk Billings Canyon here in Grand Junction, and then go haul over the rough stuff. It will be race ready after a good race prep (definitely for short course races, there’s a few things I would do before racing hammers with it), or make a great recreational crawler/toy. It’s not perfect by any means, it has been raced/wheeled, but it’s a solid vehicle that will take you just about anywhere you want to drive it.

Some overall highlights (I have a spreadsheet with just about everything done to it that I’m happy to send over):
Stock engine and transmission per 4600 class rules
35” Maxxis Razr MTs
Kingpin Dana 60 axles front and rear
35 spline chromoly shafts, 4.88s
Detroit rear locker and ARB front locker
Onboard CO2 tank that runs the front locker and winch freespool (oh yes)
Warn 8274 winch with air freespool, 9HP Bowmotor, Goodwinch 24v turbo box - this winch is pretty crazy, previous owner put it best “This is a racing winch. It’s like Spiderman compared to a guy with a ladder (your buddies winch)”
12” x 2.5 King Shocks all around - valved great, 4” RTE Fab springs (have a spare Locked Offroad shock that will be included)
3 link front suspension
3 link wishbone rear suspension
MRW beadlocks
32 gallon JAZ fuel cell with 4 Walbro pickups, one in each corner
2” x 0.120” DOM roll cage
Howe steering system - Howe pump, ram, and cooler
Corbeau suspension seats with PRP harnesses
Hydroboost brakes - tons of power
Rugged Radios M1 and intercom
Helmet fresh air pumper
UHMW Lined skids and sliders
Lowrance Trophy 5M (not currently installed)
A bunch of spares/parts

I’m sure I’m missing a ton there, but that’s most of the main stuff. I put a bunch of work into getting this up to current Ultra4 spec after I purchased it, most notably cage work and safety gear (harnesses and nets do expire this month). I’ve also done a bunch of typical vehicle maintenance stuff as well. Way too much to list everything, I’d be happy to go over more in detail. It runs well, can be a little finicky at times as it is an old Land Rover, but you also won’t see another RRC 4600 car out there (at least in the US) and will get tons of looks and compliments on it.

I am also selling my 2007 Silverado Classic LBZ which I would love to bundle with the Land Rover and my trailer as a 4600 Class Ultra4 package (the Land Rover or the truck could absolutely be sold individually as well). Happy to send over info/the listing I haven't posted yet if you're interested.

I also have a bunch of other race supplies/gear that could potentially be included to have almost everything to get you going in Ultra4. I’d also be more than happy to help get someone into Ultra4 with resources, info, knowledge, etc that I have gathered over my time racing.

I could go on for another several pages but this is already getting long haha. Don’t hesitate to reach out with questions, an offer, etc. It will come with a bunch of spares.

I have everything needed to title the car, I just have not yet as I never needed it titled. If that's something you are interested in, let me know and we can make it happen, otherwise it will be sold with a bill of sale, which is enough for OHV tags. I am asking $12,500 OBO, but would also be interested in trades for race ready (or near race ready) SCCA legal vehicles (ie. spec Miata, etc) as I am looking to get into road racing.
